This table was inspired by the gentle warmth of antique Scandinavian tables. I love the timeless patina of old world European tables that are naturally bleached and finished with soap. Of course, a soap finish is not very suitable to today's standards of durability but this table still has that same warm patina glowing through many layers of a high performance topcoat offering much more durability than its inspiration. Pipes on everything! Even this table. To this point, I have successfully resisted barnwood but something had to give. With exposed brick, steel pipes, and repurposed wood the new hotness, I needed to throw my hat into the ring. It felt the most authentic to me by using my driftwood finish and some steel pipe accents. This table has that attractive square masculine jaw. D: 33W x 84L x 30H

The Anti-barnwood table. I made this table in an effort to take a stand against the barnwood on everything craze that continues to make everyone feel like they are furniture makers. Why do people nail old nasty exterior wood boards together and call it a farm table? It's definitely a table, but its not the nostalgic memory filled, time honored tables from the heart of the homes of yesteryear. What did brand new white pine farm tables look like 200 years ago when they first entered the home? This table is just one of my guesses. D: 33W x 84L x 30H
